The goal of Tea Time Tuesday is to educate viewers from all audience brackets, expose people to new things, and to learn from the audience as well. Hi,
I’m reaching out as Samovar Tea Lounge launches a groundbreaking eco-friendly packaging design consisting of 100% compostable materials in October 2009. A collaboration between Samovar owner Jesse Jacobs and environmental industrial designer Joey Roth (inventor of the Sorapot teapot), the new packaging utilizes 100% post-consumer cardboard for its exterior shell and a wood pulp fiber liner to retain maximum freshness of Samovar’s handcrafted teas. Samovar is the first tea company to introduce a sustainable container that, if composted, would turn to soil within a couple of months.
